World Bank (IBRD) Bonds (1947-Present)

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) is a triple-A rated multilateral development institution and the first to enter the capital markets in July 1947. All World Bank (IBRD) bonds support World Bank operations and sustainable development. The World Bank Treasury manages the IBRD funding program. These data include all bonds issued since first bond on July 15, 1947.

Important Note

We recommend users to adopt API service option only for datasets exceeding a million records. For other datasets, kindly use the JSON link available on the "Actions and Tools" section which enables extraction of all the records at once.

Parameters

Institution	The institution that issues the bond is either IBRD or IDA	institution	STRING
Type	The category of transaction can be based on size, investor base, structure, purpose and impact	type	STRING
Maturity	The date the bond is repaid in full	maturity	STRING
Denominated Currency	Denomination Currency	denominated_currency	STRING
Volume	The size of the transaction.	volume	NUMBER
Coupon	The interest rate of the transaction.	coupon	STRING
Settlement Date	The date the transaction is completed.	settlement_date	DATE
Maturity Date	The date the bond is repaid and interest payments stop.	maturity_date	DATE
USD Equivalent	The value of the transaction in U.S. dollars	usd_equivalent	NUMBER
ISIN	International Securities Identification Number.	isin	STRING
Final Terms	The final terms detail all the elements of the transaction.	final_terms	URL
Resource ID	ID of the associated Resource		STRING
Select	Fields that required E.g (fiscal_year\|supplier_country\|total_amount)		STRING
Top	Number of records to fetch		NUMBER
Skip	Skip the records from the ascending order		NUMBER

Please Note:

This API will support up to a maximum of 1000 records per request / page.
The date format for all date fields should be DD-MMM-YYYY.
Selection will allow for multiple parameters E.g (Country = India|Afghanistan).
The filters for blank and non-blank should be IS NULL and IS NOT NULL E.g (Country = IS NULL, Country = IS NOT NULL)
